#77 Ramon Harewood c/o '10

Growing up in Barbados, where football is nearly unknown, football wasn’t part of the plan for Ramon until a chance encounter with a former coach, at a college fair, introduced him to the sport that would ultimately change his life. Soon after, Harewood was offered a place at Morehouse College. Once at Morehouse, Harewood made an immediate impact on the gridiron. Dominating the SIAC as a three-year starter, Harewood amassed nearly 100 pancake blocks and became a fixture of the Maroon Tiger offensive line. Harewood’s talent did not go unnoticed. In the 2010 NFL Draft, Harewod was selected in the 6th round by the Baltimore Ravens, a testament to his skill and determination despite not being invited to the NFL Combine.  Harewood remained resilient, fighting for his place on the Ravens’ roster. In his third season, Harewod made his mark as a starter in the Ravens’ season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals, displaying the dedication and talent that have defined his career.
