Frank L. Forbes, c/o 1923

Franklin Lafayette Forbes (February 14, 1904 – August 22, 1972) was a football and basketball coach. He served three stints as the head football coach (1932–1933, 1935–1942, and 1945–1949) and three stints as basketball coach (1932 - 1934, 1935 - 1943, 1945 - 1664).  Forbes accumulated a 45–57–14 record in football and 298–327 record in basketball.  

Forbes came to Morehouse College in 1923 and spent the rest of his life serving Morehouse College.  Morehouse's Forbes Arena is named after him.
