ATLANTA, GA | Morehouse College senior guard Jermontae Hill (Atlanta, Ga./Tucker HS) has been selected to the Preseason All-SIAC Second Team, the conference announced today. League coaches also projected Morehouse to finish third in the SIAC East Division, setting the stage for the program's first season under head coach
Larry Dixon.
Hill, a veteran two-way guard and emotional bellwether for the Maroon Tigers, returns after a productive 2024–25 campaign in which he averaged 11.3 points and 5.5 rebounds with 61 assists across 30 games. In SIAC play he posted 10.5 points and 5.2 boards per game, helping Morehouse to a 14–7 conference mark as part of a 17–13 overall season.
Dixon, who takes the reins for his first season, inherits a roster that showed balance, rebounding strength, and late-game toughness a year ago. With Hill anchoring the backcourt, the Maroon Tigers aim to contend in a crowded East, where the preseason poll places them squarely in the chase.
The recognition for Hill underscores his consistency and leadership as Morehouse turns the page to a new era under Dixon—one the coaches believe will keep the Maroon Tigers firmly in the SIAC conversation.
