Scouting MHC: The Maroon Tigers head into Thursday's game with a 11-11 record after a 72-68 victory against Fort Valley State that saw senior guard Robert Andrews (Detroit, MI) turn into an offensive juggernaut, scoring 29 points while shooting 8-10 from three-point range. Senior guard Michael Olmert (Atlanta, GA) nearly had a triple-double, filling the stat sheet up with 13 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds. Sophomore guard Jordan Sterling (Lithonia, GA) contributed with eight points, two rebounds, one assists and one block.

Scouting BC: The Tigers currently have a 11-14 overall record, dropping their last two games. The Tigers lost their last game to the Savannah State Tigers 64-62. The Tigers were led by redshirt sophomore forward Tyrese Mapp (West Palm Beach, Fla.) who nearly had a double-double with 15 points and seven rebounds. Redshirt junior forward Tajh Green (Rome, Ga) scored 14 points on 7-13 shooting from the field. Freshman forward Malachi McCoy (The Berry Islands, Bahamas) scored seven points on an efficient 3-4 shooting from the field while also grabbing three rebounds.

Season Sweep: The Maroon Tigers last beat Benedict on January 18. Morehouse won a gritty 73-72 game in South Carolina. With a win on Thursday, the Maroon Tigers will get the season sweep on the Tigers.

Three Games in a Row: With a win on Saturday, the Maroon Tigers will have beaten Benedict College for the third straight time. The last time the Maroon Tigers lost to the Tigers was on January 14, 2019 in a close 89-83 game. Then Morehouse forward James Walker (Stone Mountain, GA) led the Maroon Tigers with 21 points.
