Scouting MHC: Morehouse enters Monday's game 7-6 after Saturday's loss to Miles College that saw senior guard
Jarius Adley (Dallas, TX) become the team's leading scorer with 10 points, four rebounds and one steal. Senior guard
Robert Andrews (Detroit, MI) scored nine points and led the team in rebounds with five. Senior guard
Michael Olmert (Atlanta, GA) scored eight points and led the team in assists with four.
Scouting LOC: The Magicians have been on a hot streak lately, currently holding a 7-4 record after going 6-1 in their last seven games. In Saturday's 80-64 win against Albany State University, senior guard Tyrone Banks Jr. (Memphis, TN) led the Magicians in scoring with 20 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals. Sophomore guard Devin Booker (Chicago, IL) scored 16 points while grabbing two rebounds and snagging two steals. Junior forward Jaquan Lawrence (Chicago, IL) scored 11 points and led the team in blocks with six.
Dominance Over Ten: Over their last ten matches against the Magicians, the Maroon Tigers have a 7-3 record. Morehouse has won the last two matches by an average of 12 points, grinding out a 70-66 win in Memphis, TN last season against the Magicians.
Hold Off Albany State: Albany State currently has a 7-8 record. Assuming that Albany State beats Miles College on Monday night, if the Maroon Tigers were to lose this game and then drop Saturday's match against Albany State, then the Golden Rams would be the leaders in the SIAC East.
