Morehouse can end their longest losing streak of the season.

Scouting MHC: Morehouse enters Saturday's game 7-8 after a loss to Albany State that saw senior center/forward Kairo Whitfield (Atlanta, GA) lead the Maroon Tigers in scoring with 17 points, shooting 7-10 from the field. Senior guard Robert Andrews (Detroit MI) scored 15 points and made three of his six three-point shots. Senior guard Michael Olmert (Atlanta, GA) scored 14 points and led the team in assists with eight.

Scouting BC: The Benedict Tigers currently sit at 7-9 after losing their last contest to Bluefield State College 89-79. Redshirt sophomore forward Tyrese Mapp (West Palm Beach, FL.) nearly had a double-double with 16 points and eight assists. Senior guard Anthony Gomes (Kissimmee, FL) scored 14 points, making 4-9 field goals while also securing four rebounds. Redshirt sophomore guard Joseph Stanton (Buffalo, N.Y.) contributed on both offense and defense with 10 points, three rebounds while also snagging two steals.

Four Wins in Last Seven: The Maroon Tigers have won four of the last seven matches against Benedict College. The last time these two teams played during the 2018-2019 season, Morehouse won 85-70.

End Longest Losing Streak: Before these last three games, the Maroon Tigers had only dropped two games in a row twice. With a loss on Saturday, the Maroon Tigers will extend their streak to four and give Albany State a chance to further increase their lead in the SIAC East.
