Box Score February 9, 2015 – ATLANTA – Tyrius Walker matched his career high and three teammates scored in double figures, but they were overmatched by six Claflin University Panthers who scored double figures and beat the Maroon Tigers 86-69.

On most days that might be enough to win, but turning the ball over 20 times and allowing a 31-9 points-off-turnovers advantage almost always spells defeat. Morehouse fell to 12-9; 10-4.
The game was close through the first half, where the Panthers led 39-34. Midway through the second half, the Panthers went on a 15-3 run and put the game away.
Adolph Caldwell, with 18 points and 10 rebounds, and Ryan McNeill-Moses, with 17 points and 10 rebounds, did most of the damage for the Panthers who improved to 12-12; 9-6 SIAC.
Morehouse goes to Columbia, SC, Thursday, to play Benedict, a team the Maroon Tigers haven't enjoyed much success against. Benedict, which has won 15 of the last 16 games, beat Morehouse 69-60, on January 26.
