December 3, 2015 – FAIRFIELD, AL – The four-game Maroon Tiger win streak came to an abrupt end, as Morehouse fell, 74-56, to the Miles Golden Bears.

After playing to a 29-29 tie at halftime, the Maroon Tigers hit the skids and were outscored 45-27 in the second half. Morehouse shot only 22 percent after intermission and a season low 31 percent for the game.

No Maroon Tigers posted double figures, for the first time this season. Tyrone Brown, Martravious Little and Tyrius Walker scored nine points each.

Little, who started only eight games last years, has worked his way into a fulltime starter this season. In addition to tying for the team-highs with nine points and three steals, he chipped in five rebounds.

Michael Hall led the Tigers in rebounding, with six boards. Miodrag Minic added five rebounds and five points.

On the other side, Miles shot 47 percent from the field, including 8 of 16 from beyond the arc. Maiscei Grier hit seven of those three-pointers and led the Golden Bears with 28 points.

Poor shooting was the obvious pitfall for the Maroon Tigers, who suffered only a slight disadvantage in rebounding (44-38), and turned the ball over only once more than the Bears. The Tigers didn't fare much better at the free-throw line, hitting only 15 of 27 attempts.

Morehouse will travel to Tuskegee, Saturday, to take on the Golden Tigers. That game time has been changed from 3:30 to 7:00 p.m. CST.
