January 12, 2015 – MEMPHIS – Four Maroon Tigers posted double figures and Morehouse rolled to a fifth straight victory, with an 86-77 overtime win against the LeMoyne-Owen College Magicians.

In a see-saw game, with 11 ties and 15 lead changes, neither team could muster more than a five-point advantage. But in the overtime, the Maroon Tigers made the Magicians' mojo disappear, outscoring the home team 17-8.

Tyrius Walker scored 12 of his game-high 24 points in the OT, hitting a layup, a three-pointer and 7 of 8 free throws. Walker, a freshman from Atlanta's Grady High School, recorded his sixth double figure game and the third in a row, to go with three assists, two blocks and two steals.

Tyrone Brown poured in 20 points and matched a game-high 12 rebounds, to record his fourth double-double of the season. Brown nearly matched his monster game of two days ago, when he recorded 20 points and 14 rebounds, in a win against Lane.

Austin Anderson and Michael Hall scored 10 points each and Javarius Gay added nine points and four rebounds.

Three wins of the streak have come on the road and elevated Morehouse to 7-5; 5-0. With less than half the season gone, Morehouse has already equaled the number of last season's wins, when the team went 7-20. The last loss was a 58-57 defeat to Livingstone College, at Forbes Arena. Morehouse has moved into a tie for first place, with Paine, in the SIAC's East Division.

Four Magicians tallied double figures, led by Dequan Mitchell, with 19 points. LOC fell to 6-7; 3-2.

The Maroon Tigers return to home action, Thursday, at 7:30 p.m., against the Stillman College Tigers.
