Box Score
David Buchannon poured in 18 points and grabbed four rebounds and led Morehouse to a come-from-behind win over the Palm Beach Atlantic University Sailfish, 61-56.
The Maroon Tigers kept the score close for most of the game, before falling behind by 10 points in the second half. But the Tigers put their ship into gear and reeled in the Sailfish, to finish the year on a winning note.
Coach Grady Brewer dialed up the defensive pressure, to force nine second half turnovers, and the Tigers shot nearly 20 percentage points better in the second half than in the first.
In addition to outshooting the Sailfish from the field (44%-40%) and the free-throw line (61%-55%), the Tigers out-rebounded the Sailfish, 43-28.
Achieving his career high, Buchannon hit 6 of 9 shots from the field, including 4 of 5 three pointers. The senior, playing in his first season, hit two of his threes midway through the second half, which helped reduce the 10-point deficit.

Joshua Simmons, whose performance and minutes have improved with every game, contributed 10 points, three rebounds and two assists.
Tyrone Brown had a solid game all-around game and came within a point of his third double-double of the season. The 6'-8" sophomore scored nine points and hauled in a game-high 10 rebounds. Brown leads the team in rebounding, with 8.6 boards per game.
Cornez Nesbitt chipped in six points and seven rebounds.
Evin Graham hit 6 of 8 shots and three free throws to lead the Sailfish with 15 points and six rebounds. Ronnell Ross had 10 points and five rebounds.
