JACKSONVILLE, FL | As the regular season ended for most HBCU football teams, Miles Scott of Morehouse (3-7,3-5) finishes his season by taking over the lead for Week 11. Playing against the Maroon Tigers number one SIAC rival, Scott threw for 344 yards and 4 touchdowns in a disappointing 48-45 loss to Clark Atlanta University. Looking to bring Morehouse back, Scott's last two scores of the day came were within the final seven minutes of the game. Senior quarterback Kelvin Durham of Johnson C. Smith University (9-1, 6-1) dropped to the number two spot but led the Bulls to a comeback win and a date with Virginia Union for the CIAA championship on November 15th in Durham, NC at 3:00pm.

The SWAC maintains five quarterbacks on this week's list with the SIAC and CIAA keeping four selections in the top 15 spots.

The 2025 HBCU National Watchlist is comprised of black quarterbacks from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) from across the nation. The selected winner at the end of the year will receive the prestigious BIP Memorial Trophy. The award is the only national award to recognize black quarterbacks at the HBCU collegiate and high school levels.

The 2024 BIP Memorial Trophy winner was David Wright from Clark Atlanta University (SIAC).

The top 15 black quarterbacks at HBCUs for Week 11 of the 2025 Season are:
