ATLANTA, GA | On the eve of Morehouse and Clark Atlanta's rival game at B.T. Harvey Stadium, the Maroon Tigers had the privilege of participating in ESPN's First Take HBCU Tour hosted by Stephen A. Smith, Shannon Sharpe, Cam Newton, and Molly Qerim.
Many Morehouse Men and Spelman Women gathered together to showcase their school spirit and pride against their football team rivals. Accompanied with the House of Funk and Morehouse's cheerleaders, the Morehouse students made sure to make their presence known in the crowd by keeping the energy needed to go into tomorrow's game. During the final segment of the show, the hosts interview Morehouse Head Coach, Terance Mathis, along with Clark-Atlanta Head Coach, Teddy Keaton.
With the supporting co-sign from Smith, Sharpe, and Newton that Morehouse will continue to be the reigning football team in the Atlanta University Center (AUC) for the fifth year in a row, the Tigers just have to take this mentality into tomorrow's game.
The Maroon Tigers will compete against their conference rivals the Clark Atlanta Panthers, Saturday in Atlanta, Georgia, at B.T. Harvey Stadium to close out their season. Play begins at 1:00 PM and will be available to stream on ESPN+. For up-to-date athletic information on the Maroon Tigers, follow them on social media or online at
