ATLANTA, GA | The 2025 season marked a year of progress and perseverance for the Morehouse Maroon Tigers men's volleyball program, highlighted by individual development, signature wins, and a competitive spirit that culminated in a fifth-place finish at the SIAC Men's Volleyball Championship.
Under first-year head coach Deshaun Blake, Morehouse battled through a challenging early slate but showed steady improvement, closing the season with a flurry of momentum and memorable performances that underscored the team's promise.

Back-to-Back Wins to Close Regular Season:
The Maroon Tigers finished the regular season with consecutive victories over LeMoyne-Owen, including a Senior Day five-set thriller that clinched the No. 5 seed in the SIAC Tournament. The win was fueled by standout play from seniors Aidan Pullian, Jamar Shackleford Jr., and Kristopher Woods.

Playoff Berth & Competitive Spirit:
Morehouse entered the SIAC Tournament as the fifth seed and battled valiantly in both tournament matches. The Tigers dropped a hard-fought opening-round match to fourth-seeded Benedict (25-19, 28-26, 25-17), nearly stealing the second set behind strong performances from Pullian (14 kills), Daniel Allen (11), and Charles Parrish Jr. (11).

Statement Win to End the Season:
In their final match, Morehouse mounted a dramatic comeback in the SIAC Tournament's fifth-place match, rallying from a 0–2 deficit to defeat LeMoyne-Owen in five sets (21–25, 18–25, 25–20, 26–24, 15–12). Pullian delivered a dominant 27-kill performance on a blistering .575 hitting percentage to lead the charge.
