Overview - Minority Baseball Prospects HBCU All-Star Game presented by the Henry Louis Aaron Fund: The Atlanta Braves established The Henry Louis Aaron Fund, under the banner of the Atlanta Braves Foundation, after Henry's passing on January 22, 2021. The fund was created to continue to support Henry Aaron's life-long passion to increase minority participation in baseball on the field, in baseball's business operations, in careers at minor and major league level, and in the front offices of Clubs across Major League Baseball. Hank's commitment to creating opportunities, access, and equity across the sport he dominated was unwavering – and the Braves commitment to honor that legacy is also unwavering.

The Minority Baseball Prospects (MBP) HBCU All-Star Game presented by the Henry Louis Aaron Fund serves as a platform to increase minority participation in baseball and celebrates HBCU institutions, HBCU All-Stars, local Black businesses, the Henry Louis Aaron Fund and the MBP Helping Hands Foundation over the course of 2 days. This week of programming will allow each player to receive an all-star experience and exposure.

• Day 1 will feature a Career Panel of Scouts, Coaches, MLB, and MBP Leadership in the Konica Minolta Conference Room, a free Youth Clinic on the field, and a HBCU All-Star Home Run Derby.

• Day 2 will feature the 2022 MBP HBCU All-Star Game with a 7:30 PM first pitch following a MBP HBCU Pre-Game Festival in the Chop House and Hope & Will's Sandlot from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM:

 About Minority Baseball Prospects: Minority Baseball Prospects' (MBP) mission is to promote the Game of baseball worldwide by hosting high quality events for minority baseball prospects and providing meaningful opportunities to players, families, Major League Baseball organizations, coaches, and fans.

MBP's mission is to promote the Game of baseball by developing and sustaining the baseball careers of minority players. This is accomplished by implementing our 3-phase plan (Promote, Develop and Sustain) that will rejuvenate baseball in communities and increase opportunities for minority players at every level of the Game.

MBP also feature youth by highlighting in Game footage on all social media platforms. This creates a spotlight and provides much needed exposure to college and professional scouts.
