Scott threw for 352 yards, but Allen capitalized on three Morehouse turnovers and a late short-field strike to close out a 28–17 road win.

Statistical leaders — Morehouse

Morehouse had the yardage edge and the momentum after Scott's fourth-quarter sneak, but Allen's opportunistic defense/special teams and explosive pitch-and-catch game proved decisive. Even in defeat, Scott's record-setting afternoon underscores how far the Maroon Tigers' passing attack has come—and sets the stage for him to chase the single-season completions and attempts marks in the regular-season stretch run.
