ATLANTA, GA – The Morehouse College Maroon Tigers basketball team has released its 21-game basketball conference schedule for the upcoming 2023-24 season.
Of those 21 games, 14 will come against divisional opponents, featuring seven home games and seven road games. The other seven contests will consist of cross-divisional opponents.
This season, the Maroon Tigers conference slate will start with a home game against Miles College on Nov. 27.
The Maroon Tigers will then face a two-game road trip starting in Mobile, AL., at Spring Hill College (Nov. 30). Morehouse will then make its way over to Tuskegee, AL., to face the Golden Tigers of Tuskegee University (Dec. 2).
Morehouse will then return home for their first two-game conference home stand of the season, starting with LeMoyne Owen College (Dec. 16) and Lane College (Dec. 18).
The Maroon Tigers will then head back out on the road for five of their next seven games, starting with Kentucky State University (Jan. 4) and Central State University (Jan. 6). Sandwiched between the five road games will be home games with Allen University (Jan. 13) and Benedict College (Jan. 18).
The next three road games represent Morehouse's longest road trip of the season beginning at Savannah State University (Jan. 20), followed by games at Edward Waters University (Jan. 22) and at Clark Atlanta University (Jan. 27).
Five of Morehouse's final nine regular-season games will be played at home starting with Fort Valley State University (Jan. 29) and Albany State University (Jan. 31).
Edward Waters (Feb. 10), Savannah State (Feb. 12) and Clark Atlanta (Feb. 17) will be the final home games of the regular season for Morehouse before ending the year on the road against Benedict (Feb. 24) and Allen (Feb. 26).
The 2024 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Basketball Championship Tournament will take place March 2-9, 2024.
The non-conference games, as well as the exhibition games, will be announced at a later date.
