The Maroon Tigers Dominate Against Benedict College

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Morehouse College scored 10 runs in the first inning and went on to take a 12-0 victory in a SIAC baseball game on Monday afternoon at Tiger Field to wrap up the three-game series.
 
The Tigers walked in three of the 10 runs in the first inning as three Benedict pitchers issued eight walks on the day. Morehouse had 12 hits.
 
James Thorpe carried his team with 4 RBI's. Following behind Thorpe was Darren Avent, and Jaylen Greene with 2 RBI's. Timothy Whiteman, Lee Hodges, and David Coleman both had 1 RBI.

The Maroon Tigers are back at home this weekend Friday, Apr 7,  as they get ready to host a weekend series against Albany State, first pitch at 3:00 pm.
