Atlanta, GA- On Sunday, the Maroon Tigers hosted Albany State for a weekend/weekday series. Albany State would kick off the series with a win over the Maroon Tigers, 21-5.

The Maroon Tigers and the Golden Rams would score for majority of the game until the 4^th inning when the Maroon Tigers would have difficulty scoring. The Golden Rams would score all the way up to the 7^th inning and in the final inning would get six runs in.

In the 3^rd inning, Morehouse would get a home run by James Thorpe. Albany State would also accomplish three home runs in the 1^st, 2^nd, and 7^th inning.

Lavosier Fisher would have 4 RBI's, Corley Hill and Jordan Tucker had 3 RBI's, Jaelyn Brooks, Nathan Loyd, and Austin Roberts had 2 RBI's, Dominic Rutigliano would finish with 1 RBI.

James Thorpe would have 2 RBI's, Darren Avent, David Coleman II, and Elijah Pinckney had 1 RBI.

The Maroon Tigers are back in action on Monday, April 10, to finish the series against Albany. First pitch is at 12 and the second game is at 3pm.
