Atlanta, GA- The Maroon Tigers would finish up their home game schedule as they hosted a weekend series against Edward Waters University. They would kick off the series with a loss, 13-4.

The game would start at a slow pace for both teams as there would no scoring until the 3^rd inning when the Tigers would score three runs. The scoring would not end for EWU as they would score for the rest of the game expect for the 7^th inning. The Maroon Tigers would get some points on the board in the 5^th inning with two runs, one home run from James Thorpe and another run by David Coleman II. The Maroon Tigers would score two more times one in the 7^th inning and in the 9^th inning.

Hug Schoening had 3 RBI's, Anthony Roman, Daquarius Thompkins, John Nobles, and Dwanye Maduro finished with 2 RBI's.

James Thorpe carried his team with 3 RBI's. Jaiden Proper had 1 RBI.

The Maroon Tigers are still at home on Saturday, Apr 22, as they are getting ready to celebrate senior day and host a doubleheader first pitch at 12 and 3pm.
