Atlanta, GA- The Maroon Tigers winning streak continues as they accomplished their 9
th consecutive win against Kentucky State, 86-71.
Kentucky State would kick off the game by getting a 15 point lead over the Maroon Tigers. The Maroon Tigers would break that lead all the way down to a one point at 4:54 with a three pointer by
Ibn Williams and a quick layup would give Kentucky a one point advantage but a lay up by
Andrew Stewart would give Morehouse the lead back. The Maroon Tigers would keep that lead over them and finished the half, 41-36.
Coming back from the half, Morehouse would be on fire with scoring and would create a 17 point lead over the Thorobreds. The Thorobreds would try their hardest to make a comeback, but Morehouse would secure a 15 point lead and would win the game.
Jacobs Montrell would carry his team with 17 points. Jalon Andrews would finish right behind him with 13 points.
For Morehouse,
Ibn Williams would led his team with 19 points. Following behind Williams was
Amahn Decker with 17 points.
