Atlanta, GA-  In the final matchup of the South Regional Challenge at Forbes Arena, Morehouse College clashed with Embry-Riddle University. The Eagles would walk away with the win 84-69.

The Eagles surged to a commanding 26-7 lead in the first half, but Maroon Tiger Ahman Decker sparked a response, initiating a 16-6 run. Despite efforts to narrow the gap, Embry-Riddle maintained a lead through a balanced scoring effort in the first half. Dru Nickson and Maroon Tiger Keshawn Pegues led with nine points each.

Entering the second half trailing by 16, the Maroon Tigers aimed to overcome a challenging first half. However, the Eagles resiliently defended their lead, and despite Morehouse's efforts, the deficit only diminished to 12 points by the game's end.

Dru Nickson shined for the Eagles, contributing 21 points, four rebounds, and three assists.

Damion Mitchell was a standout for the Maroon Tigers, delivering an impressive 25-point performance, with 22 points coming in the second half.

Looking ahead, Morehouse College will face Fayetteville State University at Forbes Arena on Friday, Nov. 17, in the HBCU All-Stars Classic.
