Frankfort, KY- Kentucky State conquered another win against Morehouse, 0-3. Set scores 25-14, 25-14, and 25-19.
Kentucky State would start out the game with a service error by Kade Andruski giving Morehouse the first point, but KSU would soon get the point back with two back to back kills. An attack error by
Nasir Barnes would give KSU another point making the score 4-1. The Thorobreds would hold the lead for the rest of the game and would finish out the first set.
The second set KSU would start out with a three point lead until another service error by Kade Andruski would give the Maroon Tigers their first point. KSU would eventually get a 10 point led on Morehouse. The Maroon Tigers would make a comeback and finish the game with 14 points giving the Thorobreds another win.
The last set would start out a little differently as they would go back an forth on who was going to take the lead. The score was tied multiple times during the third set but an attack error by Jordan Howard would give Morehouse the led for only a small second and the game was tied again at 19-19 but a kill by Jamal Gray would give them the one point lead and they would take off with the win.
Nasir Barnes and Bryce Clemmons would lead Morehouse with 3 kills. Babalola would have 3 blocks.
The Maroon Tigers last game of the season will take place on Saturday, April 16 as they travel to Edward Waters. Game time is at 2pm.
