Fairfield, Ala. - The Maroon Tigers fell to the Miles College Golden Bears on Sunday, 2-17, in the last game of a three-game series. After a close affair during the first two innings, Miles went on a 15-1 run, which included a seven-run fourth inning.

Alan Brown got the Maroon Tigers off to a strong start by hitting a home run in the game's first at-bat. By the end of the third inning, the Golden Bears had taken a 5-1 lead on the strength of William Johnson's two-shot home run.

Justin Harrison managed to score on a double in the fourth inning, but the run would be the last score for the Maroon Tigers. Miles's seven-run fourth inning put the game out of reach. Johnson ended the inning by hitting his second two-run homer of the night.
The Maroon Tigers managed four hits on the night, while Miles produced 13 hits and no errors.
The loss dropped Morehouse to 2-9. The Maroon Tigers will welcome Edward Waters University for a three-game series beginning March 11, tip-off at 1pm.
