Atlanta, GA- Morehouse watched the game slip away as Edward Waters took both the wins in a double header match this Friday afternoon. The Tigers would end up beating Morehouse by one point in the first game, 2-1 and by five in the second, 9-4.

Game 1:
Edward Waters started the game out hot by scoring two runs in the top of the first inning which allowed them to take the victory. Senior Payton Shubert scored on an error by Morehouse allowing him to get the opening run, then to follow was a fielder's choice from sophomore Daiton Pass allowing him to score.

The score remained the same up until the bottom half of the sixth inning when an RBI triple by Ryan Williams which cut the lead in half, 2-1.

Game 2:
After falling to the Tigers in the first game Morehouse was hungry for a win but Leonel Garcia would provide the game's opening run with an RBI single to give the Tigers a one-point lead. Edward Waters would double their advantage with two-RBI double from Payton Shubert.

Morehouse cut the lead down to one in the bottom of the third pushing across two runs. Amyr Smith scored two RBI, Daylun Powe-Salters scored one RBI, and Darren Avent scored one RBI.
The Maroon Tigers eventually tied up the game in the bottom of the fourth on a solo homerun by Powe-Salters. By the fifth ending Morehouse finally took their first lead of the day by scoring off an RBI.

Edward Waters pushed across six runs in the top half of the sixth inning to put the game away for the Tigers.

The two losses drop Morehouse to 2-11 on the year. The Maroon Tigers will play at home tomorrow against Edward Waters, game time 12pm.
