Atlanta, GA- The Maroon Tigers are having a tough start to their inaugural season as they fall to UCLA on Friday night. Final scores were 25-8, 25-9, and 25-5.
The Maroon Tigers hosted an incredible game against UCLA as they came in ready to play. UCLA started the game out with a 3 point lead until
Nasir Barnes got Morehouse their first point of the game. The Bruins came back with a kill and ran off with the lead. The second set UCLA started the game out with the lead until
Nasir Barnes had another kill getting them their first point. J.R. Norris made a kill, and the Bruins once again took off with a win. The third set was a slower paced set and Morehouse was only able to achieve 5 points while UCLA took the win.
Cole Ketrzynski would lead the Bruins with 12 kills, followed behind J.R. Norris would lead with 10 kills.
Nasir Barnes led Morehouse with 3 kills,
Kristopher Woods and Bryce Clemmons finished with 2 kills.
The Maroon Tigers will be back in action next Friday, April 1, as they host Fort Valley for senior night at 6pm.
