Atlanta, GA- This past weekend was golf's annual Morehouse Invitational where we hosted three schools which where: Lemoyne-Owens, Fisk University, and Wilberforce University. The tournament was held at Brownsmill GC which is one of Atlanta's City historic golf courses.

Morehouse put up a hard battle against all the universities and in the end came out with the win finishing with a total of 665, Lemoyne-Owens came in second with a total of 693, Fisk finished third with a score of 765, and to last was Wilberforce with an 823.

Christopher Dent and Coleman Gipson both tied with a total of 171. Gipson had a career high of 88. Solomon Dobbs came in with a 172. Daylon Salters came in third place with a total of 170 and Bryce Williams with a career low of 78 finishing with a total of 159.

The golf team wants to give a huge thanks to Johnny Brown and Kroger's for providing meals for both days.

The Maroon Tigers next match is on April 10^th for the SIAC Championship.
