Atlanta, GA- The Maroon Tigers come up short versus Spring Hill College 68-65.

Coming off a loss to Miles College this past Monday, the Maroon Tigers were eager to get back in the win column but fell short. The first half was back and forth, with either team leading by five points. After trailing by one, with 13 seconds remaining in the first half, Maroon Tiger guard Andrew Stewart scored a lay-up putting the Maroon Tigers up 29-28.

The two teams battled it out in the second half, with the lead changing five times. Ultimately, Spring Hill College guard Tana Kopa secured the steal with 30 seconds left in the game. Five seconds later, the Maroon Tigers were down 68-65. In the last-chance effort, the Maroon Tiger guard would heave up a three as time expired, but it fell short.

Spring Hill college's Tana Kopa and Steven Lyles finished with 21 points in the game leading all scorers.

Morehouse forward Nate Lacewell finished with 14 points on the evening.

The Maroon Tigers look to end their two-game losing streak versus Tuskegee University on Dec 3 at Forbes Arena.
