Atlanta, GA- The Morehouse College Maroon Tigers fall 35-0 to the number one ranked team in the SIAC east Benedict Tigers at BT. Harvey Stadium.

Benedict would strike first after the Tigers started running back Noah Scotland ran for 50 yards on the first play, setting a three-yard touchdown run for Benedict running back Jaylen Taylor. The Tigers would then score on a 5-yard run by running back Deondre Duehart and would go up 14-0 in the second quarter. The Maroon Tigers would go scoreless in the first half. The Tigers would waste no time coming out of the half running back the kickoff for a 90-yard touchdown by Tayven Grice. The Tigers would go on to score twice again to finish the game. The Tigers improve to 8-0 on the season and are the number one seed in the SIAC and the 18th-ranked division two team in the country. The Maroon Tigers are now 0-8

Morehouse running back Charles Daniels ran for 41 yards on the day on seven attempts. Morehouse senior Dantez Simpson would lead the defense with 10 tackles, four individual and six assisted.

The Maroon Tigers play at Albany State next Saturday at 2 pm in Albany, GA.
