Atlanta,GA- Young Harris College defeated Morehouse College 83-78 in the opening game of the Brewer-McAfee Memorial Classic. 

Morehouse started early with an 11-3 lead to open the game until Young Harris shooters started hitting their threes. In the first half alone Young Harris made 10 threes in the first half shooting 45.5% from three. They would shoot even better with 6 three-pointers made at 66.7 % in the second half.  Young Harris guards Eden Davis and Seth Mccoy were the top scorers for their squad as they combined for 48 of their 83 points. Young Harris would widen their lead in the second half by 16 with 10:57 remaining until Morehouse rallied, cutting it down to four with 90 seconds left in the game but couldn't secure the win. The top scorer for Morehouse College was forward Ahman Decker with 18 points and two assists.

 Morehouse will face Fisk University Sunday, December 5th at 4:00pm. Be there.
