Atlanta, GA- Morehouse men's basketball team found their groove breaking their losing streak with a 63-58 win over Lemoyne-Owens this evening.  
How It Happened:

• Morehouse built a 12-9 advantage in the game's first ten minutes.
• LeMoyne-Owens cut the lead to one point in the second half, but the Maroon Tigers quickly tied the game at 13:59, 33-33.
• Morehouse was 17-23 at the free throw line while Lemoyne Owens was 7-14.
• LeMoyne-Owens tried to make a come back in the second half by keeping up with Morehouse.

Key Stats:

• Morehouse had a seasons-high in free throws attempted (23) and free throws made (17).
• Xavier Brewer scored 15 points and pulled down 4 rebounds.
• Amahn Decker and Kalin Bennet tied both chipping in 8 points.
• Kalin Bennett had 4 blocks, and 5 rebounds.
• Morehouse improves to 2-4, while Lemoyne-Owens drops to 4-2.

 
This weekend Morehouse will be hosting the Brewer-McAfee Memorial Classic. The tournament will be this weekend Dec 4-5. Morehouse will play against Young Harris on Saturday at 2pm and Fisk University at 4pm.
