Rock Hill, S.C. (October 22, 2021) - Morehouse College Men's Cross Country team finished second at SIAC Men's Cross Country Championship at Winthrop Farms on Friday morning.
The Maroon Tigers placed two runners in the top 10 in a field of 71 competitors as they came in second place finishing with 64 points. Benedict College was the team that took the championship title with 38 points and an average time of 28:27.
To set the pace for the Maroon Tigers was Johndell Cumberbatch coming in third with a time of 28:17. Devin Hawkins finished in sixth place with a time of 28:40.
Morehouse College will compete in the 2021 NCAA Division II South Region Championships at Abbey Golf Course in St. Leo, FL on Saturday, November 6, 2021.
