Brian Kemei delivered a wire-to-wire victory at the Willie Laster Cross Country Invitational, crossing the line in 26:03.2 to win the men's 8K. The performance earned Kemei his second consecutive Runner of the Week award from the SIAC. The mark showed a 1:39.6 improvement from his previous outing (27:42.8), which earned Kemei honors last week, and set the tone for the Maroon Tigers' podium team finish.
