Box Score 2 April 21, 2018 – COLLEGE PARK, GA – The Maroon Tigers blew two late-inning leads and lost a doubleheader to Clark Atlanta, 3-2 and 9-7.
Most of the go-ahead and winning runs by CAU came via errors, which spoiled strong pitching performances by Morehouse pitchers Anthony Dodd and Kristopher Skinner.
The loss in Saturday's twin-bill completed a sweep by the Panthers who won, 15-5, in Friday's game, at the HBCU Classic, in Greenville, SC. In an earlier series, this season, Morehouse won two of three over the Panthers.
The losses may have eliminated Morehouse from any chance of making the SIAC post-season tournament, which begins in early May.
Morehouse will play the final games of the regular season, Saturday and Sunday, in Tuskegee.
