ATLANTA, GA | Morehouse College Athletics continued its strong commitment to academic achievement as 93 Maroon Tiger student-athletes combined to earn 127 selections to the 2025-26 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Commissioner's All-Academic Team.
Morehouse also collected 13 selections to the SIAC All-Academic Teams by Sport. Seven student-athletes accounted for those honors, led by Warren Trawick, Khalil Johnson and Darius Williams, who were each recognized in men's cross country, indoor track and field and outdoor track and field.
The SIAC Commissioner's All-Academic Team recognizes student-athletes who have maintained a cumulative grade-point average of 3.4 or higher. The All-Academic Teams by Sport are also selected based on cumulative GPA and recognize the conference's highest-achieving student-athletes in each championship sport. The number of honorees selected for each sport is based on the number of student-athletes required to compete in that sport.
"This recognition reflects the discipline and commitment our student-athletes demonstrate every day," Morehouse Athletic Director Harold Ellis said. "At Morehouse, academic achievement remains at the center of the student-athlete experience. We are proud of these young men for representing their teams, our athletics department and the College at such a high level in the classroom."
Five Morehouse student-athletes selected to the sport-specific teams recorded perfect 4.0 cumulative GPAs: Trawick, football's Thane Martin Jr., golf's Tyler Stackhouse and baseball's James Wyllie and Gabriel Westry.
