Box Score 2 March 25, 2016 – ATLANTA – It was a less than good Friday for the Morehouse baseball team, which lost its eighth and ninth games in a row, to the Claflin University Panthers.
Claflin won the first game, 9-3, and the second game, 9-3.
The losses were especially painful, coming against an SIAC East Division rival and dropping Morehouse to 0-8 in the conference.
In Game One:
Starting pitcher Jason Davis went five and two-thirds innings and took the loss, dropping his record to 2-3 on the season.
In Game Two:
Starter Kristopher Skinner surrendered six runs in four innings, before giving way to reliever Anthony Dodd, who went the rest of the way.
