Maroon Tigers Lose Season Opener

Box Score November 8, 2013 -- Morehouse played well but lost the season opener to the Johnson C. Smith University Golden Bulls, 73-66, in game one of the inaugural HBCU Tipoff Classic.

Newcomer David Buchannon led Morehouse, with 14 points, to go with three rebounds and three steals.

D'Anthony Relaford scored 11 points and Robert Askew added 10 points and a team-high eight rebounds.

In game two: Tuskegee outlasted Virginia Union, 102-94, in overtime.
