Morehouse was 20-8 last season and finished tied for
first in the SIAC East Division, with Benedict. The
Maroon Tigers made it to the conference finals,
but lost to Benedict 68-60.

This season, SIAC basketball coaches projected that
Morehouse would finish second in the SIAC East Division,
again behind Benedict, the two-time defending champion.

Guards Austin Anderson and Darrius Williams were
selected to the Preseason All-SIAC team, even though
Williams will not be on the active roster until the
spring semester.

Grady L. Brewer enters his 14th season as head coach,
after serving as an assistant for 13 seasons.

He said this is one of his best teams in a long time.
