Jones Voted SIAC Offensive Lineman of Week

Morehouse center Marlon Jones was voted the SIAC Offensive Lineman of the Week for his outstanding play in the AT&T Nation's Football Classic.

 

Despite the 30-29 loss to the Howard University Bison, Jones anchored a Morehouse offensive line that rolled up 472 Total Yards,  averaged 5.7 yards per play, converted 11-of-19 third-down chances and scored on 4-of-6 trips into the Red Zone.

 

The senior engineering major, from Powder Springs, GA claimed this honor three times last season and was named to the 2011 All-SIAC First Team and the 2012 Preseason All-SIAC First Team.
