Maroon Tigers Third in National Golf Championship

May 13, 2012 – PORT ST. LUCIE, FL – Morehouse finished third in the PGA Minority Collegiate Golf Championship, behind Fayetteville State University and Lincoln University (MO).

 Led by senior Bryan McElderry, who shot 78-75-82 – 235, five Maroon Tigers tallied 319-323-313—955, to finish ahead of five other teams in the Division II bracket. (See complete scores below).

Morehouse won the national minority championship in 2010.

The Championship was played on the Wanamaker and Ryder Courses at PGA Golf Club, and featured nearly 180 players representing more than 40 colleges and universities.
