Maroon Tigers Drop Fourth Straight

January 19, 2012 -- TUSCALOOSA, AL -- The Maroon Tigers dropped their fourth game in a row, losing to the Stillman Tigers, 64-51. 

In the second road loss in two days, Morehouse trailed most of the game and fell to 3-9 (3-7 SIAC).

For the fourth time this season, Shawn Allen led Morehouse in points and rebounds. Allen scored 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, to go with three assists and three steals.

Morehouse played without leading scorer and rebounder Andrae Nelson, who suffered a concussion in Tuesday's loss to Paine and may be lost for the season.

Daniyal Faquir scored seven points, as did Gerald Dunn, who was playing in his first game of the season.

Stillman, which improved to 6-6 (4-6 SIAC), was led by Ladarius Webb, with 23 points and eight rebounds. Jerry Wherry scored 20 points.

Morehouse will travel to Tuskegee, Saturday, at 7:30 p.m., to play the Golden Tigers, before returning home Thursday, to square off against Clark Atlanta, at 7:30 p.m.
