November 7, 2011 -- The Morehouse exhibition basketball game against the University of Kentucky Wildcats will be televised, Monday (Nov. 7), at 7 p.m., on FOX Sports South.

Kentucky is the preseason #2 team in Division I and the #1 seed in the Southeastern Conference. The Wildcats are expected to make a deep run in the NCAA tournament.

This is the first meeting between Morehouse and the 7-time NCAA champion Wildcats. The game will be played in Lexington, KY, at the Adolph Rupp Arena, the largest basketball venue in the nation. More than 23,000 fans are expected to attend.

The game was arranged by Morehouse head coach Grady Brewer who met Kentucky head coach John Calipari at the ESPN Town Hall, held at Morehouse, in January.

Coach Cal asked to take a picture with the Morehouse basketball team at the summit and Brewer agreed in exchange for an exhibition match up against the Maroon Tigers.

Morehouse Director of Athletics Andre Pattillo, a former SEC referee, has deep ties to the Kentucky basketball program.

Go Tigers.
