Coach Ryan Edwards serves as the Tight Ends Coach and Pass Game Assistant at Morehouse College, where he brings six years of coaching experience in offensive strategy, player development, and team leadership. A proud Morehouse alum, Edwards was a standout student-athlete, earning First Team All-Conference honors, serving as a 3-time team captain, and receiving Preseason All-American and Boxtorow All-American Honorable Mention recognition before going on to play professionally.
Edwards began his collegiate playing career at the University of Illinois before transferring to Morehouse, where he earned a degree in Sociology with a minor in Communication. His coaching journey started at Carver High School in Atlanta, where he served as Offensive Coordinator, helping shape young talent and building a competitive offense.
Coach Edwards has also completed three NFL summer internships and multiple coaching clinic residencies, gaining elite-level insight into offensive innovation, team culture, and program building. Known for his passion, energy, and attention to detail, Coach Edwards is committed to helping student-athletes succeed both on and off the field through detailed game planning, statistical analysis, and strong cultural leadership.
