Coach JaCorey Crawford enters his first season at the collegiate level with Morehouse College, bringing a strong reputation for discipline, attention to detail, and a unique ability to connect with players. With a background as a former collegiate athlete and certified strength coach, Crawford offers a comprehensive approach to physical development and on-field performance.
A native of Thomson, Georgia, Crawford began his coaching journey in 2023 at Drew High School, where he served as both the Defensive Backs Coach and Head Strength & Conditioning Coach. In just one season, he played a pivotal role in the development of over 10 student-athletes who went on to earn college football scholarships. His coaching philosophy has been shaped by mentorship from respected SEC and ACC coaches as well as former Morehouse Head Coach Rich Freeman.
Beyond the scholastic level, Crawford is a well-regarded personal trainer who works with elite athletes from the NFL, CFL, and XFL. His specialization in high-performance physical training has made him a sought-after resource for professional talent.
Crawford is a graduate of Georgia State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration. A five-year letterwinner who played multiple positions, he was also a leader off the field—earning academic recognition including the Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll, Dean’s List, and multiple selections to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
Coach Crawford is married to the former Savián Jordan and remains deeply committed to developing student-athletes into champions both on and off the field.
