Antonio Johnson, a proud Morehouse College alumnus and Birmingham, Alabama native, currently serves as the linebackers coach for the Morehouse College Maroon Tigers, now entering his second year in the role.
Johnson played at Morehouse from 2015 to 2019, earning a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. During his standout collegiate career, he was a 2× Preseason All-Conference selection, a 2× All-Conference honoree, and served as team captain in 2019. In 2018, he led all HBCUs in sacks, cementing his place as one of the top defensive players in the country.
After graduation, Johnson transitioned into coaching, bringing passion and leadership to the next generation of athletes. From 2020 to 2023, he served as Head Football Coach and Defensive Coordinator at Fulton Leadership Academy. Under his leadership, the team reached new heights, culminating in a championship victory in 2022.
Now in his fifth year of coaching, Johnson continues to build and mentor elite linebacking talent at his alma mater, bringing energy, experience, and a championship pedigree to the Morehouse defense.
