Coach Antony Armstrong serves as the Special Teams Coordinator and Running Backs Coach at Morehouse College, joining the football staff in the spring of 2025. With a proven track record of player development and program-building, Armstrong brings both energy and experience to the Maroon Tigers.
Prior to Morehouse, Armstrong was the Head Coach at Community Christian College of Georgia, where he led the team to a conference championship in 2021 and helped over 30 student-athletes secure college scholarships and football opportunities. His impact was equally felt at Central State University, where he served as Offensive Coordinator in 2024 and Special Teams Coordinator from 2022–2023. Under his leadership, Central State’s special teams ranked #1 in blocked kicks in the SIAC for consecutive seasons and finished ranked #12 nationally in 2022 and #7 in 2023 across NCAA Division II.
Armstrong began his coaching career at Fort Valley State University, working with running backs, tight ends, and wide receivers from 2017 to 2019. He was instrumental in the Wildcats' run to the SIAC Championship game in 2017.
