Hill Goes Back-To-Back With National Honors

5th annual All-Star Game celebrates the nation’s best Black college basketball players and conference teams

INDIANAPOLIS, IN |  Morehouse College men's basketball standout JerMontae Hill has been named the HBCU All-Stars NCAA Division II SIAC Player of the Week for Week 10, earning the recognition for the second consecutive week, as announced by HBCU All-Stars, LLC.

Hill delivered another strong all-around week for the Maroon Tigers, averaging 33.0 minutes, 17.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.0 assist, and 1.0 steal during the week of Sunday, January 18 through Saturday, January 24.

HBCU All-Stars "Player of the Week and Team of the Week" honors spotlight top HBCU student-athletes nationally across the MEAC, SWAC, CIAA, SIAC, and Independent institutions. Week 10 honorees, including Hill, are part of a season-long recognition program tied to the 5th annual HBCU All-Star Game, scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at Corteva Coliseum in Indianapolis.

The HBCU All-Star Game celebrates the nation's top college seniors while honoring Black college basketball legends who helped shape the game and HBCU basketball culture, including Avery Johnson, Lindsey Hunter, Flip Murray, Kyle O'Quinn, and Carlos Rogers.

HBCU All-Stars also announced that its national scouting team—Stacey Beckton, Cy Alexander, Chrys Cornelius, Bo Bivens, Ray Martin, and Flip Murray—has spent the past three months evaluating HBCU talent nationwide, helping elevate a watch list of the nation's top performers in Black college basketball.
