ATLANTA, Ga | Morehouse College Athletics announced today that the men's basketball game between Morehouse and Spring Hill College, originally scheduled for Saturday, January 24, and later postponed to Monday, January 26, will now be played at a later date due to extreme weather impacting the Southeastern United States.
A make-up date and time will be announced once details are finalized.
"After closely monitoring conditions throughout the region, we made the decision to postpone again with the safety of our student-athletes, staff, officials, and fans as the priority," said Harold Ellis, Director of Athletics . "We appreciate the continued patience and support of Maroon Tiger Nation."
Despite the disruption, the Maroon Tigers remain one of the hottest teams in the country. Morehouse currently sits in first place and holds HBCU men's basketball's longest active win streak at seven games.

Morehouse will next travel to Birmingham, Alabama, for a pivotal conference matchup on Thursday against Miles College, currently second place in the SIAC West Division.
Back Home: Den of Honor Game Set for Saturday, Jan. 31
The Maroon Tigers will return to Forbes Arena on Saturday, January 31, to host Tuskegee University at 3:00 p.m. in the annual Den of Honor Game. The game will also see the SIAC top two teams on the court with Tuskegee currently sitting in first-place in the SIAC West and Morehouse sitting in first place in the SIAC East. The 2026 class of the Morehouse Basketball Den of Honor will be inducted at halftime, celebrating the legacy of Maroon Tiger basketball and those who helped build its tradition.
The Tuskegee matchup opens a stretch of five consecutive home games (possibly six) over 15 days, culminating with the Big Cat Hardwood Classic against rival Clark Atlanta University on Saturday, February 14 at 2:00 p.m.
