ATLANTA, GA | Morehouse forward Josiah Lawson earned the SIAC Player of the Week award for games played November 17 - November 23, 2025. Lawson came off of the bench to lead the Maroon Tigers' offense in a 2–0 SIAC road swing, averaging 22.0 points and 5.0 rebounds while shooting an incredible 68% from the field (19-of-28) and 63% from three (5-of-8) in wins at Albany State and Spring Hill.

Lawson opened the week with a game-high 20 points on 9-of-12 shooting, adding 4 rebounds, a steal and an assist in a 77–54 road win at Albany State. He followed that with an even bigger performance at Spring Hill, pouring in a game-high 24 points on 10-of-16 shooting, including 4-of-5 from beyond the arc, with 6 rebounds, a block and a steal in an 83–60 victory. Across the two games, Lawson committed no turnovers while leading Morehouse in scoring in both contests and helping the Maroon Tigers move to 2–0 in SIAC play.
