Wilberforce, OH- A spectacular night on the basketball court unfolded as Morehouse secured a dominant 78-53 victory over Central State.

Morehouse would kick off the game with the first points of the game and would quickly create a 14 point lead over Central State. The Marauders would try their best to catch up during the first half but within the last two minutes of the game the Maroon Tigers would have a 22 point lead over Central State, 46-24. Willie Jackson would respond with a three pointer cutting the 22 point difference down to 19 and a turnover by Jaden Gray and a steal by Demar Moore would send Steven Key II to the basket with a made layup ending the first half, 46-29.

Within five minutes into the game the Maroon Tigers would get their 20 point lead back. Central State would try their hardest to make a comeback, but Morehouse was hungry for their win after falling short against Kentucky State. The last five minutes of the game, Morehouse would get an incredible 28 point lead on Central State but a last minute foul by Damion Mitchell would send Raevon Thomas to the free throw where he would make one and miss one ending the game, 78-53.

Steven Key II would lead his team with 16 points. Raevon Thomas would add 14 points.

Amahn Decker would get a career high of 23 points. Cedric Taylor III added 14 points.

The Maroon Tigers are back at home on January 13^th at 2pm where they will host Allen University.
