ATLANTA- Morehouse and Fort Valley collided in a game that left fans on the edge of their seats. The intensity reached its peak as Morehouse emerged triumphant with a hard-fought 69-65 win against the Wildcats.

Morehouse set the tone from the start, claiming the first points, and swiftly establishing a lead over Fort Valley. At the 11:09 mark, the Maroon Tigers enjoyed a 10-point advantage, leading 19-9. Despite Fort Valley's determined comeback, Morehouse maintained their hunger for success. Just before halftime, Morehouse secured a lead of 42-35.

The Wildcats rewrote the narrative in the second half, taking the lead from the Maroon Tigers at 8:33. However, Morehouse responded swiftly, with a pivotal three-pointer by Cedric Taylor III. The scoring swung back and forth, resulting in two tied scores. As the game approached its climax, with only 0.57 seconds left on the clock, the score stood at a tense 65-65.

Amidst the nail-biting final moments, Amahn Decker's decisive layup broke the tie, giving Morehouse a crucial two-point advantage. A strategic foul by Kenton Eskridge then sent Cedric Taylor III to the line, where he secured the win.

Myson Lowe had double digits of 24 points.

Amahn Decker had double digits of 21 points. Cedric Taylor III added 16 points. Jaden Gray contributed 13 points.
